“Mustaqil” — Crimean Tatar for “independent” — is a subscription course in Crimean Tatar taught by Crimean Tatar teacher Zeyneb Ibraimova. It suits complete beginners, people who have understood the language since childhood but don’t speak it, and fluent speakers who want to write correctly.
Lessons run on the ProgressMe platform: phonetics and pronunciation, grammar from simple to complex, sentence building, topic vocabulary, listening, everyday phrases and dialogues. Answers are checked automatically, and the tutor corrects mistakes and gets in touch if a topic is unclear.
Besides lessons, there is a word trainer with spaced repetition, jokes, the “Masa oyunı” game and a support chat on Telegram. Three modules of 7 lessons each are ready, and new lessons keep being added. The course uses the Cyrillic alphabet. The subscription is 900 ₽ a month.

You see a word in Russian and spell it in Crimean Tatar letter by letter.

Speaking tasks: talk about professions, write a text or record your voice right on the platform — the teacher will check it.
