Ocaq is Crimean Tatar for hearth. It also means home, family — the place people gather around. That is what we want this site to be.
More and more apps appear in Crimean Tatar, but they are hard to find: scattered across app stores, chats and channels. Ocaq brings them together, so that a parent, a student or anyone who wants their language back has a place to start.
Principles
- Products first. The site is a shelf of useful things, not an ad for a studio.
- Crimean Tatar topics only. Language, culture, history, community, children.
- Free. For users and developers: no fees, no revenue share, no mandatory promotion.
- Correct language. We check texts against the dictionary and with native speakers.
